Suspension of membership status occurs when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the College of Pharmacists of Braila, a request asking for the suspension of membership status. At the time when this suspension is requested, the pharmacist must have paid the dues until the end of the year and must meet the requirement of continuous professional training by a number of 40 EFC hours for the respective period.

The pharmacist is obliged to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days after resuming activity.
