Persons classified with a severe degree of disability with a personal assistant have the right to be provided with a personal assistant employed and paid by the local public authorities or to receive a monthly allowance in case they give up employing a personal assistant; the allowance is equivalent to the net salary of a debutant social worker with secondary education in budgetary units other than those with beds.
The Social Benefits and Vulnerable Persons Service has the obligation to take the necessary measures to ensure the granting of the allowance equivalent to the net salary of a debutant social worker with secondary education in budgetary units other than those with beds, to all persons in need, classified with a severe degree of disability with a personal assistant, without any discrimination.
To benefit from the monthly allowance, the applicant must have domicile or residence within the territory of Grădinari commune.
