- The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and released by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician has, as the case may be, their domicile/residence or place of work/unit where they are to carry out their activity. - The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request, to persons provided for in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health care reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, as defined in art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health care reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) are not in any of the cases of indignity or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice as a physician;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained the bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
