- The membership certificate of the College of Physicians of Romania is issued and released by the territorial branch of the College of Physicians of Romania in whose jurisdiction the requesting physician, as the case may be, has his/her domicile/residence or workplace/unit where he/she will carry out his/her activity.

- The membership certificate of the College of Physicians of Romania is granted upon request, to the persons provided for in art. 376, paragraph (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the reform in the health field, republished, with subsequent modifications and completions, who cumulatively fulfill the following conditions:

a) hold an official qualification in medicine, as per art. 377, paragraph (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the reform in the health field, republished, with subsequent modifications and completions;

b) are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;

c) are medically fit to practice the medical profession;

d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.
