Technical Notice for INDIVIDUAL METERING

This technical notice is issued in the case of works for separating water consumption, with metering through the main water meter, if the technical conditions for delimiting or separating the installations between users exist, for concluding a service supply contract in one's own name and provided that the technical conditions of flow and pressure ensured by the supplier, at the building connection, are met.

To obtain the notice you need:

- Standard application form

- Technical documentation regarding the installation of the measuring system to be placed in the common space (basement, water meter chamber) or in a chamber located on public domain;

- Individual and collective Land Registry excerpt (not older than one month);

- A document certifying independent metering of consumption points for which metering was requested, a document signed and stamped by the authorized person who performed the installation;

- If there is an interior installation, connected after the main water meter of the building, in a single visible point, written certification by the other tenants regarding the individual supply of consumption points through the interior installation is required;

- Declaration regarding the land area, consisting of the surface of individual property (individual Land Registry) and the share of common property (collective Land Registry), for which the volume of rainwater discharged into the street sewer will be calculated, also signed by the other tenants;

- Proof of up-to-date payments for services provided by Aquatim for the entire building.

Legal basis:

- Decision of Aquatim’s Board of Directors no. 12/2007;

- Implementation rules of Law no. 50/1991 (Official Gazette no. 797bis/23.11.2009);

- Government Decision no. 348/1993 regarding the metering of water and thermal energy for the population, public institutions, and economic agents;

- Government Ordinance no. 13/2008 for the amendment and completion of the Law on community public utility services no. 51/2006 and the Law on water supply and sewage services no. 241/2006.

The approval fee is 48.79 lei (VAT included) and is paid upon submission of the documentation. Payment of technical notices is made at the cashier's office on Enric Baader St. no. 11. The documents required to obtain the technical notices may also be sent by e-mail or submitted to the Customer Relations Service, at Enric Baader St. no. 11, Monday to Friday between 8-15.
