Details
Social assistance is granted monthly, to supplement the net monthly income of the family or single person, to ensure the guaranteed minimum income. The payment of social assistance is provided by the Galați County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, from the budget of the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice. For the amounts granted as social assistance, one of the adults in the family must perform monthly actions or works of local interest for all family members, without exceeding the normal work schedule; failure to fulfill this obligation results in the suspension of social assistance payment, and if within three months of suspension this obligation is not fulfilled, the social assistance payment ceases.
