The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and granted by the territorial branch of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose jurisdiction, as the case may be, the applicant doctor has their domicile/residence or workplace/unit where they are to carry out their activity. - The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted, upon request, to the persons provided for in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, within the meaning of art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice the medical profession;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their degree in the last 5 years.
