Details
Social assistance is granted monthly, supplementing the net monthly income of the family or single person, to ensure the guaranteed minimum income. Payment of social assistance is ensured by the Buzău County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, from the budget of the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice.
For amounts granted as social assistance, one of the major persons fit for work in the family must perform, monthly, actions or works of local interest, for all family members, without exceeding the normal work regime; failure to fulfill this obligation leads to the suspension of social assistance, and if this obligation is not fulfilled within 3 months of suspension, the payment of social assistance ceases.
