The day center has the mission of preventing the abandonment and institutionalization of children by providing, during the day, care, education, recreation-socialization, counseling, development of independent living skills, school and professional guidance, etc. for children, as well as support, counseling, education, etc. activities for parents or legal representatives, as well as for other persons caring for children.
The services offered by the "Jurjac" Day Center are complementary to the efforts and actions of the family, as they result from parental obligations and responsibilities, as well as to the services offered by educational units and other service providers, according to the individual needs of the child in their socio-family context.
