Details

Doctors who carry out their activity in a contractual relationship with the county health insurance funds or the Bucharest municipality, directly or through medical service providers, can continue their activity after reaching the age of 70, upon request, with an annual approval issued by the county public health department or the Bucharest municipality and by the CMR, through the county medical colleges or the Bucharest municipality, based on the health certificate.

Procedure and deadlines

1. Submission of the file: It is recommended to submit the documents at least 30 days before reaching the age of 70 or before the expiration of the previous approval.

2. Annual approval: The DSP approval is issued for a maximum period of one year and must not exceed the validity period of the annual free practice approval from CMR, requiring periodic renewal.

3. The legal deadline for resolution is 15 calendar days from the date of registration of the application
