The procedure from March 27, 2020 concerns the recognition of professional qualifications of Romanian citizens, citizens of a member state of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation, as well as third-country nationals holding an EU Blue Card, issued in Romania or by another EU member state, for the purpose of practicing as a psychologist with free practice rights in Romania.

The request regarding the exercise of the profession of psychologist with the right of free practice in Romania*

The request will be forwarded to the attention of the Operational Management of the Romanian College of Psychologists and must contain the identification data of the applicant, the specialty, and the professional level for which recognition of professional qualifications is requested.*
Proof of applicant's citizenship*

Certificate attesting that, at the time of issuance, the applicant is legally established in a member state for the purpose of practicing as a psychologist, that he/she is not prohibited from practicing, not even temporarily, and that there are no criminal convictions or any temporary or permanent suspension from practicing the profession*

Proof of the certificate of professional competence or the qualification title that allows access to the profession of psychologist in the country of origin and, as the case may be, proof of the professional experience of the person concerned, accompanied by proof of professional qualifications in the field of psychology, issued by the country of origin, indicating the subjects attended by the applicant*
