The procedure presents the steps to be followed and the documents that must be presented for the recognition of diplomas, certificates or attestations specific to the mountain rescuer occupation.

The profession of mountain rescuer can only be practiced by the certified individual who meets all the conditions stipulated in Government Decision no. 77/2003 regarding the establishment of measures for the prevention of mountain accidents and the organization of mountain rescue activities.

Information regarding the registration and professional training stages for individuals, Romanian citizens and citizens of a member state of the European Union or belonging to the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation are presented and can be viewed here

For the recognition of diplomas, certificates or attestations specific to the occupation of mountain rescuer, the applicant submits the necessary documents online or by mail in copy, following to present them in original before taking the certification exam.

The final documents will be sent in original, by mail, to the applicant or, as the case may be, to the Salvamont service they belong to.
