Recognition of pre-university level diplomas obtained by citizens from EU member states, EEA, and the Swiss Confederation and for their family members abroad - procedure for educational institutions
This procedure applies exclusively to pre-university educational institutions (post-secondary schools) and higher education institutions in Romania that submit the candidates’ files for one of the study programs they offer.
All requests will be accompanied by a Forwarding Note electronically signed by a representative of the institution.
The files submitted through this procedure will contain all necessary documents as they are presented on the CNRED web pages, namely:
Recognition of studies of citizens from EU member states, EEA and the Swiss Confederation and for their family members, for enrollment in post-secondary or higher education studies (bachelor)

The CNRED decision may be contested, only once, within 45 working days from the date of acknowledgement. CNRED will issue a decision within 60 working days. The resolution period may be extended in justified cases, with the applicant being notified in writing, by postal services or electronic mail.
