Recognition of university-level diplomas obtained by citizens from EU, EEA member states and the Swiss Confederation and for their family members abroad - procedure for educational institutions
This procedure applies exclusively to higher education institutions in Romania that submit candidate files for one of the study programs they conduct.
All requests will be accompanied by a Forwarding Note electronically signed by a representative of the institution.
The files submitted by this procedure will contain all necessary documents as presented on the CNRED web pages, as follows:
Recognition of studies for citizens from EU, EEA member states and the Swiss Confederation and for their family members, for admission to master's / doctoral university studies

The CNRED decision can be appealed only once, within 45 working days from the date of becoming aware. CNRED issues a decision within 60 working days. The resolution period may be extended in justified cases, with the applicant being notified in writing, by postal services or electronic mail.
