This public service ensures the certification of conformity for the purpose of placing on the market in Romania technical means for fire protection, in areas not covered by the harmonized European Union legislation. Placement on the market is carried out on the basis of a certificate for placing on the market, issued in accordance with the provisions of the regulations in force. Evaluation for the issuance of the certificate for placing on the market is carried out by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, through the National Centre for Fire Safety and Civil Protection.
