The request can be sent by mail, courier, fax or e-mail. The request will be submitted to STPF/ Coast Guard or SPF, depending on the specifics of the activity. I. The Territorial Services of the Border Police/ Coast Guard authorize the following activities carried out in the border area, up to a depth of 500 meters from the border line towards the interior: - mining; - oil, gas, mineral water, thermal water exploitation; - forestry, gravel, quarrying operations; - land improvement and irrigation works, embankments; - works or constructions on watercourses; - works to ensure navigation conditions; - constructions and tourist, leisure or other types of developments; - geological research or prospecting. II. The Border Police Sectors / Ship Groups authorize: - access of persons to the state border protection strip up to the border corridor or water bank, as appropriate, with the approval of the local public administration; - access of persons, only through the places and under the conditions established by the local public administration, for carrying out activities beyond the protection strip of the state border, when it is located deeper, as well as on islands and islets belonging to the Romanian state, located in the border waters; - mooring in places established by port captaincies or, as appropriate, by the local public administration authorities of boats and vessels registered according to the law, on border waters and internal maritime waters; - carrying out leisure and sports activities in border waters; - daytime grazing of animals up to the state border protection strip, at the external border, or up to the border corridor, at the internal border, and at night, up to 500 meters from these, towards the interior, in places established by the local public administration authorities; - organized hunting of predatory animals, up to a depth of 500 meters from the state border protection strip at the external border, or from the border corridor, at the internal border, towards the interior, based on decisions of local councils.*
