The public service provided involves receiving and solving requests for the issuance of certificates necessary for the allocation of burial plots in military cemeteries in the Bucharest garrison for the following categories of Ministry of Internal Affairs personnel: 1. military or personnel with special status, active/in reserve/retired; 2. contractual civilian personnel and public servants employed/retired; 3. war veterans, widows/widowers of war of the M.A.I. The certificate can be issued in advance or at the time of death and certifies that the entitled person for whom the issuance is requested has or had the status of M.A.I. personnel, and will then be attached to the file on the basis of which a burial plot will be allocated by the military cemetery administrator designated at the level of the Ministry of National Defense.*
