Any holder of a driving license issued by the Romanian authorities may request the issuance of their history of sanctions applied as a result of violating traffic rules on public roads. The document can be issued: 1. Digitally, through the HUB services platform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where it is automatically generated; 2. In writing, at the headquarters of any traffic service within the county police inspectorates, the Traffic Brigade within the General Police Directorate of the Municipality of Bucharest, or the Highway Brigade, as the case may be, with the applicant required to appear in person to complete the procedure. The sanction history reflects the total number of traffic violations on public roads that are recorded as active in the database of retained driving licenses and sanctions applied to drivers of motor vehicles, agricultural or forestry tractors, or trams, kept for determined periods depending on their nature, according to art. 4 and 5 of O.M.A.I, no. 141/2014 regarding the record keeping of retained driving licenses and sanctions applied to drivers of motor vehicles or trams.*
