Natural persons and legal entities authorized to conduct operations with pyrotechnic articles may perform fireworks displays with pyrotechnic articles from hazard categories F2, F3, and F4, after obtaining in advance, for each display performed, an approval from the police inspectorate of the county in which the fireworks display is to take place or from the General Police Directorate of the Municipality of Bucharest, for those organized within the capital. The approval is obtained after submitting a request accompanied by supporting documents by the applicants, analysis, and operative checks carried out by specialized personnel a.e.s.p.*
