Young people who have benefited from a social protection measure, according to the law, and have reached the age of 18, may choose to continue the special protection measure under the conditions of art. 55 para. (2) and (3) or to receive a monthly allowance amounting to 4.8 ISR. This allowance is granted to young people who can prove that they are attending a full-time educational program or have a job.

According to art. I of Order MMSS and MFTES no. 1954/20668/07.10.2022, in order to maintain the granting of the allowance for young people, they are required to send to the territorial agency, every 6 months from the date the right is established, as appropriate, a certificate issued by the employer attesting that the young person is employed or a certificate issued by the educational institution attesting that the young person is enrolled in and attending courses at that institution.
