The procedure establishes the method of analyzing requests for the recognition of type approvals issued in other EU member states. The applicant legal entity submits to the BRML headquarters the Declaration of mutual recognition for the purpose of Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2019/515 of the European Parliament and of the Council, accompanied by a copy of the type approval certificate (including the authorized translation into Romanian) issued for the measuring instrument for which the mutual recognition declaration was completed, the graphical representation of the type approval marking and the meaning of the symbols that are inscribed on them, as well as installation instructions and/or the user manual translated into Romanian.
