Legalized copy - authenticated by the authorities of the issuing country - of the academic transcripts for the last two years of pre-university studies, except for the final year. Candidates will be declared eligible only if the average of the two years of pre-university studies considered is at least equivalent to 6 in the decimal system (conversion of results from other school evaluation systems to the decimal system will be based on the rule of three; for example, for a grading system of 1-20, grades above 12 will be considered, while for a grading system of 1-100, grades above 60 will be considered). For candidates graduating from secondary education in the UK or other countries whose secondary education is based on the UK model, the results of the assessments carried out at the end of each year of study or, where appropriate, every second year, will be taken into account instead of the school report.

Copy of pages 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the passport. For candidates from EU countries, they can submit a copy of the Identity Card instead of a passport copy. Both the passport and the identity card must be valid for at least 9 months after the start of the academic year. If the candidate has multiple passports/identity cards issued by different countries, copies of all respective documents must be submitted.

Legalized copy certifying the proof of name change (if applicable). If the candidate's name on the educational documents does not match the name on their birth certificate, the candidate is required to submit a notarized declaration specifying the reasons for these discrepancies.

Medical certificate from the country of origin or residence, which will include the following elements: assessment of mental state, presence/absence of chronic diseases, presence/absence of contagious diseases, presence/absence of conditions incompatible with undergraduate studies or the future profession, issued no more than 60 days prior to the date of application.

Language proficiency certificate, minimum level B2, for the language chosen for study, according to Annex 1 - scanned. If the candidate has language proficiency in several of the languages for which the admission process is organized at the Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, it is mandatory to upload all these proofs and mention these competencies in the digital admission application.

Volunteer certificate issued by the Red Cross/Red Crescent, Doctors Without Borders. Volunteer activities in non-institutional systems are not considered.

Letters of recommendation from teachers who can provide information about the candidate's high school educational background, officially certified by the graduated educational institution (maximum two letters),

Declaration of consent regarding the processing of personal data (to be downloaded from the UMF Iasi admission website at the time of application).

Baccalaureate diploma for candidates who are high school graduates at the time of application and the transcript of the last year of high school study, notarized copies (in Romanian, French or English language). Candidates who are in their last year of high school may upload their diploma at a later date, on a date set by the admission competition calendar. Candidates who have passed the baccalaureate exam (or equivalent) in the sessions corresponding to the 2025-2026 school year may submit, instead of the baccalaureate diploma, a certificate of graduation issued by the high school, which must mention: the subjects in which the final exam was taken and the grades obtained, the validity period of the certificate, the fact that the baccalaureate diploma (or equivalent) has not been issued, and the date of its issuance. Please note that the original diploma must be submitted no later than the beginning of the second semester of the first year of study. If the candidate's first and last names on their high school diploma are not identical to the first and last names appearing on their birth certificate or passport, the candidate is required to submit a notarized explanatory note. ➢ Please note!
