In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives, and Medical Assistants of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the professional recognition of the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in the other EU Member States.
The activities of attesting the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in the other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, the states belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as amended and supplemented. As the case may be, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online requests for the issuance of the documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian qualification titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted through the PCUe to the county/ Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, of which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired the status of OAMGMAMR member, the application is to be submitted online through PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the required documents or it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from notification, the applicant is required to complete the file with all requested documents. If the applicant does not respect the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the specialty structure level of the National OAMGMAMR, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, they will be sent online to the applicants through the PCUe by the county branch of the OAMGMAMR to which they have submitted the electronic file.
