The Central Unit or the Territorial Branch of Land Reclamation coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of approvals in compliance with the legal provisions in force.
The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before the expiration of this period, a single extension of the approval can be granted, after a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit at least 5 days before the expiration of the validity period of the ANIF approval for which the extension is requested) and a field verification of it.
The extension of the approval will have a different registration number from the ANIF approval issuance register and is granted for a maximum period of 12 months; after this date, a new extension of the approval validity is not possible, and the applicant will have to obtain, under the law, another ANIF approval.
