Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for the recognition of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse required in the other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants of Romania, as a competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant, in the other EU Member States.
The activities for attesting the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in the other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, the states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, with subsequent amendments and additions.Where appropriate, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the issuance of the documents necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are sent via PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT obtained the status of OAMGMAMR member, the application is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the required documents or if it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the required documents. If the applicant does not meet the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the National OAMGMAMR specialized structure, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants via PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
