Notification for obtaining the agreement of licensed/authorized providers in member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area for carrying out activities of design, installation, modification or maintenance of alarm systems*
The procedure is addressed to legal or natural persons licensed/authorized in member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area, who wish to carry out activities of designing, installing, modifying, or maintaining intrusion alarm systems on the territory of Romania. In accordance with the provisions of art. 31, para. (4) of Law no. 333/2003 (R), activities in the field of alarm systems may be carried out on the territory of Romania by persons licensed or authorized in one of the member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area, after notifying the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police. The notification procedure is established by art. 78 of Annex 1 to Government Decision no. 301/2012.

Licensing for activities of designing, installing, modifying, or maintaining burglary alarm systems – verification of the registered and authorized office for the administrative organization and operational coordination of the employed personnel*
The procedure is addressed to legal entities or authorized natural persons (PFA/II) from Romania, member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area and establishes the conditions for verifying the registered and authorized headquarters for the administrative organization and operational coordination of the personnel, upon the request for obtaining an operating license to carry out activities of design, installation, modification or maintenance of intrusion alarm systems on the territory of Romania. The obligation is established by art. 77 corroborated with art. 26, para. (1) of Annex 1 to Government Decision no. 301/2012.
NOTE: It is no longer expressly required to submit copies of documents issued by public authorities, considering the provisions of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 41/2016 regarding the establishment of simplification measures at the level of the central public administration, local public administration, and public institutions, as well as for the amendment and completion of certain normative acts
Renewal of the license for design, installation, modification or maintenance activities of burglary alarm systems – verification of the registered and authorized office location*
The procedure is addressed to legal entities or authorized natural persons (PFA/II) from Romania, member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area, and establishes the conditions for the verification of the registered and authorized operating office for administrative organization and operational coordination of personnel, upon the request for renewal of the operating license to carry out activities of designing, installing, modifying, or maintaining alarm systems against burglary on the territory of Romania. The request for renewal shall be made in compliance with the deadline provided in art. 87, para. (1) of Annex 1 to Government Decision no. 301/2012. The obligation to verify the operating office is established by art. 88, para. (1), letter c) of Annex 1 to Government Decision no. 301/2012.
