For pharmacists who have not registered within 5 years of graduating from university, they will take the professional revalidation exam for the purpose of practicing the profession and will pay a fee of 500 lei according to Decision no. 1/2018 published in MOF 1249 of 11.12.2024
Duplicate member certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate of the Membership Certificate of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit to the headquarters of the Sibiu College of Pharmacists the complete documentation, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the documents listed below.
The fee for issuing a duplicate Membership Certificate is 150 lei, according to Decision no. 1/2018 published in the Official Gazette 1249 of 11.12.2024

Current professional certificate*
In accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in its consolidated form as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 part I, as well as the Implementing Rules published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in case of establishment of new pharmaceutical units as well as changes of chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the position of chief), will address the county colleges for obtaining the Current Professional Certificate.
Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who want to practice their profession outside the country's borders.
The methodology for preparing and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of the Romanian College of Pharmacists no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be drawn up by the Romanian College of Pharmacists and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issue;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send to the Romanian College of Pharmacists the standard request for preparation and issuance of the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receipt of the request, the R.C.P. will prepare the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the Romanian College of Pharmacists which will prepare and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will prepare a Register of records – with the identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county – and will hand them to the applicants with acknowledgment of receipt.

The fee for the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 150 lei, according to Decision no.1/2018 published in the Official Gazette 1249 of 11.12.2024, will be paid into the account of the Territorial College RO62BREL002000853680100 LIBRA BANK SIBIU.
