Insertion Incentive*
Eligible persons (who, for 12 months out of the 2 years prior to the child's birth, have earned income from salaries, income from independent activities, income from agricultural activities, or have been in one or more of the situations called assimilated periods) who, during the period in which they are entitled to benefit from child-rearing leave, obtain taxable income are entitled to an insertion incentive in a monthly amount of 50% of the minimum amount of the monthly child-rearing allowance.
For persons who obtain taxable income at least 60 days before the child reaches the age of 2 years, or 3 years in the case of a child with a disability, the granting of the insertion incentive is made until the child reaches the age of 3 years, or 4 years in the case of a child with a disability.
Either of the child's natural parents may benefit from this right, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

STATE ALLOWANCE FOR CHILDREN*
The state allowance for children is granted to all children up to the age of 18, without discrimination. The state allowance for children is also granted to young people who have reached the age of 18, who are attending high school or vocational education courses, organized according to the law, until completion, except for those who are repeating the school year, except for those who repeat for health reasons, proven with a medical certificate.
Children of foreign citizens and stateless persons who are residents, under the law, in Romania, if they live together with their parents, also benefit from the state allowance for children.
This right can be requested by any of the biological parents of the child, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

GUARANTEED MINIMUM INCOME*
The guaranteed minimum income is a benefit granted to individuals or families in difficulty whose incomes are insufficient to cover minimum living needs, assessed through a social inquiry, as well as through other specific tools.
This benefit is granted monthly, supplementing the net monthly incomes of the family or single person, to ensure the guaranteed minimum income. The payment of the social aid is provided by the Caraș-Severin County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, from the budget of the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice.
For the amounts granted as social aid, one of the work-capable persons in the family is required to carry out monthly actions or works of local interest, without exceeding the normal work schedule. Failure to fulfill this obligation leads to the suspension of the guaranteed minimum income, and if within 3 months from the date of suspension this obligation is not fulfilled, the payment of the social aid will cease.

FAMILY SUPPORT ALLOWANCE*
The family support allowance is a form of aid for families with low incomes, of up to 634 lei per family member, who are raising and caring for children up to 18 years old.
The granting of the family support allowance aims to supplement the income of families in order to ensure better conditions for the upbringing and education of children, as well as to encourage school-aged children, under the care of low-income families, to attend an educational form of schooling, organized according to the law, according to art.1, para.2 of Law no. 277/2010 regarding the family support allowance, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions.
If the family owns, rents, borrows, or otherwise holds at least one of the goods included in the list of goods that lead to the exclusion of social aid, provided for in art. 8, para. (2) and (3), of Law 416/2001 (Annex no. 3 of G.D. 778/2013), it is not entitled to the allowance.
