Procedure regarding the automatic recognition of teaching positions in higher education obtained abroad*
This procedure regulates the automatic recognition of academic positions obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad.
The procedure applies to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries.
The employment for an academic position is carried out in accordance with the legal provisions in force, as well as its own methodology for the competition to occupy academic and research positions.

Procedure regarding the automatic recognition of the status of doctoral supervisor obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad*
Through this procedure, the status of PhD supervisor obtained at an accredited higher education institution abroad is automatically recognized within the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation who have obtained the status of PhD supervisor in accredited university institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other countries included in the "List of prestigious universities from other states" approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and updated periodically, for the purpose of settling in Romania. Only in the case of temporary practice, the provisions of Law 200/2004 and art. 296 of Law 1/2011 apply directly. The exercise of the rights conferred by the status of PhD supervisor and occupying a teaching position in the Romanian higher education system is carried out according to the legal regulations in force.

Procedure regarding the recognition of the doctorate diploma and the title of Doctor of Science or in a professional field, obtained abroad*
This procedure regulates the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad.
The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field from accredited institutions of higher education or research and development included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries," approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and updated periodically.
The exercise of the rights granted by the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field is carried out according to the legal provisions in force.
The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field from accredited institutions of higher education or research and development included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries," approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and updated periodically.
