Available procedures
Recognition of qualifications obtained in the territory of other EU Member States in regulated health professions, for the purpose of practicing as a dentist in Romania*
For the recognition of the dental medicine qualification obtained in an EU member state, a state belonging to the European Economic Area, or in the Swiss Confederation, the following steps are taken
1. the national applicants from these states submit to the Ministry of Health a file containing the documents listed below; the file can also be sent by postal/courier services with acknowledgment of receipt.
2. after registration, the content of the file is checked by the Human Resources Center in Public Health (CRUSP) against the list of documents, including their validity periods
3. in the case of incomplete files, the applicant is notified in order to complete them with the missing or non-compliant documents.
4. complete files are forwarded for analysis to the professional organization - the College of Dental Physicians of Romania.
5. the professional organization issues, as the case may be, the recognition notice or the application of compensatory measures (aptitude test or adaptation traineeship).
6. the Ministry of Health issues the recognition order for the professional qualification or notifies the applicant regarding the application of compensatory measures, as the case may be.
*Recognition of qualifications acquired in the territory of other EU Member States in regulated health professions, for the purpose of practicing the profession of pharmacist in the territory of Romania*
For the recognition of the pharmacist qualification obtained in an EU member state, in a state belonging to the European Economic Area or in the Swiss Confederation, the following steps are followed
1. national applicants from these states submit to the Ministry of Health a file containing the documents listed below; the file can also be sent by postal/courier services with acknowledgment of receipt.
2. after registration, the content of the file is verified by the Center for Human Resources in Public Health (CRUSP) against the list of documents, including their expiration dates
3. in the case of incomplete files, the applicant is notified to complete the missing or non-compliant documents.
4. complete files are forwarded for analysis to the professional organization - the College of Pharmacists of Romania.
5. the professional organization issues, as appropriate, the recognition endorsement or the application of compensatory measures (aptitude test or adaptation period).
6. the Ministry of Health issues the order for the recognition of the professional qualification or notifies the applicant regarding the application of compensatory measures, as the case may be.

For the recognition of the medical qualification obtained in an EU member state, a state belonging to the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation, the following steps are followed:
1. national applicants from these states submit to the Ministry of Health a file containing the documents listed below; the file can also be sent by postal/courier services with acknowledgment of receipt.
2. after registration, the Human Resources Center in Public Health (CRUSP) verifies the content of the file in relation to the list of documents, including their validity periods.
3. in the case of incomplete files, the applicant is notified to complete the missing or non-compliant documents.
4. complete files are forwarded for analysis to the professional organization - the Romanian College of Physicians.
5. the professional organization issues, as appropriate, the recognition notice or the implementation of compensatory measures (aptitude test or adaptation internship).
6. the Ministry of Health prepares the order recognizing the professional qualification or notifies the applicant regarding the implementation of compensatory measures, as appropriate.
