Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for the recognition of Romanian qualification titles for general nurse, midwife, and nurse required in the other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of Generalist Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the professional recognition of the Romanian qualifications of generalist nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in the other EU Member States.
The activities of certifying Romanian qualifications of generalist nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in the other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of the other EU member states, states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and supplemented. If applicable, the certification documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the issuance of the documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian qualifications, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted through ROePAS to the county/ Bucharest City Branch of OAMGMAMR, of which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired the status of OAMGMAMR member, the application is submitted online through ROePAS to the OAMGMAMR branch of the territory in which the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the required documents or it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the ROePAS system. Within 15 days from the notification, the applicant is required to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant fails to meet the deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the ROePAS system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared by the specialized structure of the OAMGMAMR National office, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, they will be sent online to applicants through ROePAS by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
