In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Nurses from Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues documents (certificates etc.) necessary for the professional recognition of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and nurse in other EU Member States.

The activities of attesting Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and nurse in other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter called attestation documents, used by the authorities of other EU member states, states belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 regarding the recognition of professional qualifications, with subsequent amendments and additions. As appropriate, attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.

Online requests for the issuance of documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted via PCUe to the county branch/ the Municipality of Bucharest branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired membership of OAMGMAMR, the request is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area they reside.

If the applicant does not attach all required documents or it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days of the notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all required documents. If the applicant does not comply with the completion deadline, upon expiry the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.

The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the specialized structure of OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR to which they submitted the electronic file.
